Wayne Rooney’s 13-year-old son Kai is already making waves in the world of football. With dreams of following in his dad’s footsteps, Kai has set his sights on playing in the Premier League for Manchester United in 10 years’ time.

Currently a member of Man United’s academy system, Kai is determined to make his dream a reality through hard work and dedication.
When asked about his biggest inspiration, Kai did not hesitate to name his dad as the one who has helped him through tough times and taught him a lot about the game.
As a boyhood Everton fan, Wayne Rooney joined the club at the age of nine and had two spells there. Kai is now following in his dad’s footsteps, supporting Everton as his team. Although he has a love for Man United as well, his heart belongs to Everton.

Kai’s fledgling career has already seen him score an impressive 56 goals for Man United, with his favorite moment being when he scored four against Liverpool, even though they lost. His best moment, however, was when he scored an overhead kick against City for the under 12s.
Kai’s talent has not gone unnoticed, with the young footballer already signing a sportswear sponsorship deal with Puma at just 12 years old. His mother, Coleen, also shares three other sons with husband and former England footballer Wayne: Klay, nine, Kit, six, and Cass, five.
Wayne Rooney expressed his delight at Kai’s decision to join Manchester United, but stressed that it was entirely his son’s decision and not his own.

With hard work, dedication, and the support of his family, Kai Rooney could well be on his way to making a name for himself in the Premier League, just like his dad.
