Manchester United is reportedly considering selling some of their key players including Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, and Scott McTominay in order to bring in a new striker and midfielder, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The future of Harry Maguire at Manchester United is uncertain, with the Telegraph reporting that the club considers the summer of 2023 the perfect moment to sell him.

Maguire has struggled to regain his place in the team, and is currently fourth choice behind Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Luke Shaw at center-back. The club is also considering permanently selling Anthony Martial, who has been frequently injured and is unavailable to lead the attack.

Donny van de Beek has had a difficult time at Manchester United and sustained a catastrophic injury in January, causing him to miss the rest of the season. Alex Telles, who plays fiercely but does not stand out in either a defensive or attacking position, is also expected to depart soon.

Eric Bailly is no longer in Manchester United’s plans, with the Ivorian midfielder currently on loan with Marseille. Manchester United is keen to get rid of the former Villarreal player, who has a somewhat wild and undisciplined playing style that did not sit well with coach Erik ten Hag.

Overall, it appears that Manchester United is looking to make some significant changes to its squad as it seeks to improve its performance on the field.
