Manchester United Fans Delighted as Rashford and Lingard Reunite for Friend’s Birthday Party
Manchester United fans were thrilled to see Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard back together again as the pair enjoyed a birthday party. The duo reunited to celebrate their friend Sunny Digwa’s 35th birthday at a nightclub, and they posed for photos with other friends.
Rashford, who featured in United’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa, and Lingard, who was an unused substitute for Nottingham Forest in their loss at Brentford, both looked relaxed and in good spirits.
Lingard, who left Old Trafford last summer, is now playing for Nottingham Forest, and both stars regularly give the world an insight into their bond through social media. The two players have been close friends for several years, with Lingard describing Rashford as a “little brother”.
Their friendship stemmed from Lingard defending Rashford during a heated Manchester derby in 2016. Lingard said, “He got into a little bit of beef, and I had to be there for him, and from then, it’s carried on, and I’ll always be there for him no matter what.”
United fans were delighted to see Rashford and Lingard back together again after Lingard’s departure from Old Trafford. One fan wrote, “Just seeing Marcus and Jesse together is so nice.”
