Manchester United are set to target Fulham’s Joao Palhinha this summer, with Fulham already lining up Porto’s Mateus Uribe as a replacement for their Portuguese star.
Palhinha arrived at Craven Cottage in £20million deal from Sporting Lisbon last summer, and his displays this season have attracted notable attention from some of the Premier League’s top clubs.
One of the club’s monitoring the situation is believed to be Manchester United, with Fulham set to demand £60million for the midfielder star.
If Palhinha does end his stay in West London, the Cottagers have eyed-up the perfect replacement for the Portuguese, in Porto’s Mateus Uribe, according to The Sun.
Fulham are said to have already made contact with Uribe’s representatives and are speaking with Porto, but with the Colombian’s contract expiring at the end of the season, a deal is ready to be done to bring him to the Premier League.

They could however, face competition for the 32-year-old, with both Atletico Madrid and Lazio also interested in signing Uribe on a free transfer ahead of next season.
Uribe joined Porto from Mexican side Club America in 2019 and has won two league titles with the club. This season he’s played 42 times for the Portuguese giants, netting four goals and one assist.
