Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo felt the effects of a gruelling collision he suffered during Portugal’s 4-0 win over Czech Republic as he trained with a black eye

Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted with a black eye and a cut on his face in training after suffering a gruelling injury for Portugal.
The Manchester United forward is currently on international duty with the Euro 2016 winners. But while his side demolished the Czech Republic 4-0 in Saturday’s Nations League fixture, Ronaldo ended the match feeling worse for wear after a collision with opposition goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik.
His face was left covered in blood after challenging for an aerial ball and being struck by Vaclik’s arms. The 37-year-old was able to continue despite needing treatment, albeit with a plaster on his nose.
The impact of the injury was clearly visible during Portugal’s following training session as Ronaldo sported a beaten-looking face. Yet the legendary goal-scorer will be glad the damage is not severe enough to rule him out of the final pre-World Cup fixture against Spain on Tuesday.
It comes after a disappointing weekend outing for Ronaldo, who gave away a penalty and surprisingly failed to get on the scoresheet. But the ever ambitious veteran will be eager to make things right and extend his international record of 117 goals against rivals Spain.

Portugal will need to avoid defeat in order to confirm the top spot and make their way into the Nations League finals.
Ronaldo won the second international trophy of his career when he won the inaugural Nations League tournament with Portugal in 2019 and will undoubtedly be eying a third.
