Al-Nassr new boy Cristiano Ronaldo has been gifted a one-off watch by Jacob and Co worth £630,000 to celebrate his move to Saudi Arabia.
After sealing an exit from Manchester United, the 37-year-old Portugal international finally completed his lucrative move to the Middle East at the end of December to put an end to months of speculation.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly now the highest paid player in the world after agreeing terms on a contract which is estimated to be worth around £173million-a-year. And the veteran striker has now received a stunning gift worth six figures to commemorate his move to Saudi Arabia.
The watch, which can be seen in all it’s glory on Jacob and Co’s official Instagram page, pays tribute to Ronaldo’s new home and is the same shade of green as the Saudi Arabian flag. The watch also features 338 ultra-rare gemstones and is 18K white gold.
Ronaldo, who has a long-standing relationship with Jacob and Co, has already been pictured wearing the watch in various snaps on social media. However, his new timepiece has failed to bring him much luck during the early weeks of his career in the Middle East.
After missing a host of chances and blanking on his official Saudi Pro League debut last week, Ronaldo endured another miserable night as Al-Nassr were dumped out of the Super Cup in the tournament semi-finals by Al-Ittihad.
Ronaldo and Co lost the semi-final clash 3-1 on Thursday night – and things went from bad to worse for Al-Nassr’s new talisman, who appeared to leave the stadium hobbling following a heavy tackle from second-half substitute Hamdan Al-Shamrani.

Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia also singled out his side’s new star man after the match after Ronaldo spurned a golden opportunity to open his account. Garcia said: “One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano’s missed opportunity in the first half.”
