A heartwarming story has emerged of a blind dog named Ollie, who tried to help a stranded dolphin that washed up on Rockaway Beach. The 11-year-old pooch and his owner, Frankie Gonzalez, stumbled upon the dolphin while taking a walk along the beach. Despite his blindness, Ollie tried to approach the fallen sea creature, showing an innate sense of empathy and compassion.

According to Gonzalez, Ollie was held back from getting too close to the dolphin to avoid interfering with the authorities. The species of the dolphin was not immediately identified by officials.
